Fournier could have produced better numbers off the bench! The Knicks paid all that money for him to not play and do not tell me he could not have guarded Max Struss for five to ten minutes a game while opening the floor with shooting?
There’s no need to attach an asset to Fournier. His contract is expiring after this upcoming year, 23-24 season, essentially because he has a TEAM OPTION on his contract for 24-25 season. His contract is an asset for teams looking to free up space after this upcoming year. Very valuable contract. If any team demands assets attached we simply keep him and let his contract expire.
The biggest mistake he made last season was playing too much basketball before the beginning of the season. It set him back in my opinion. He older, mileage is adding up and the extra wear and tear caught up to him.

i disagree with idea of signing DDV there is a reason he bounced around from Bucks, Kings, Warriors in his short time so far…he isn't that good. Its great his numbers are good and he has friends on the knicks but if you ever watched him play on any of these teams you wouldn't be too excited to get this guy.

I'm stating the obvious when I emphasize how important Josh Hart is to us but we should keep in mind that there's a difference between paying someone "up to" a certain amount vs what they'll actually get. Leon Rose has been good at maximizing cap flexibility since he took over, so I'm not worried about that.
