I’m sure this will go down well around here – yikes

  2. rjgator

So I will say, Mickey not going into the tax for a contender is fucking atrocious

That said, after seeing some the CBA rules like if you’re above the 2nd apron twice in 4 years one of your future 1st round picks gets sent to the end of the first round and some of the other rules that basically make the 2nd apron a hard cap, I’m not surprised.

  3. SudTheThug

the micky arison billionaire defenders are gonna come out and protect their king tho

  4. jbenson255

Well can’t blame Pat he was smart enough to know Beal would’ve made a great addition and you likely keep herro. It’s Mickys money so i mean it is what is is

  5. MediocreDVaMain

I don’t really trust Heavy.com writers, their stories feel more fanfic than actual reports

Wanted Beal here but I also see the point, that no trade clause staying with him when he gets older is gonna be annoying if he asks out again

  6. oneofone305

Pat knows the roster doesn’t have enough. His pressers don’t move me lol. Gotta protect Micky

  7. TheRatchetTrombone

    The reporter is from heavy.com.

So Pat wasn’t sleeping at all, no more Sleepy Pat

Micky Scrooge is our new enemy

  9. Gavster1221

Now that our core is locked into big money Arisons spending will decide our celing…

  10. I know this is written to make it sound like Mickey said no, but it can be read (and seems more logical) that Riley himself couldn’t justify going into the 2nd tax apron for Beal.

  11. Global33_to_Idlewild

    Heavy.com just makes stuff up.

I don’t blame anyone in the Miami Heat FO or ownership for not wanting to go into repeater 2nd apron territory over borderline all star Bradley Beal.

If you do it, you do it for Lillard.

If Lillard isn’t coming, you avoid the second apron.

  12. ELPaloLoco

So the billionaire owner is stingy as fuck.

In other news: the sky is blue and water is wet.

This report is BS don’t nobody know about this organization

  14. medueleelbichomeng

To everyone who’s been shitting on pat the last 3 years, shame on you.

  15. CurryMustard

Sean Deveny is a writer for heavy.com. He has no sources. What hes saying is probably true imo but he has the same basis to reach that conclusion as i do. In other words, hes just making shit up or regurgitating other actual news reports that we have already heard and as usual nba central spins it into some kind of news when its really just a gasbag gasbagging.

  16. surgeyou123

You guys will literally post any tweet as long as it backs up your viewpoint lol

  17. Esjay954

Dudes keep saying it’s heavy so not true

we already knew this and people around the heat have alluded to this lol.

Arison is about saving money first everything second.

  18. im not being serious but just trade jimmy dude. whats the point of making the finals and not making any changes that will improve the fucking roster. minimum guys arent going to move the needle like that. sell the team to fucking saudi arabia

  19. iliveonramen

I figured that the hold up being money out was Arison and paying the tax. Pat and Andy will make anything work, there just has to be a willingness to pay the checks.

When Spo and Pat eventually leave this team is going to be very mid.

  20. Caesar21Octavoian

Fuck mickys cheap ass. He should sell the team and just enjoy his awful cruise business

  21. MagicBear24

Sell the team to a real owner preferably a Saudi group with unlimited money

  22. Junkazo

Do team owners not know that this is what it takes to win sometimes . What’s the point of owning a team if you don’t know what the sacrifices are that come with it

  23. ceomentor

Sell the team then. This shit is embarrassing. I’ll never go on a Carnival cruise fuck this cheap ass.

  24. gab_owns0

This man provided towels for every home playoff game instead of a t shirt.

    What a cheap ass.

  25. gab_owns0

It wouldn’t surprise me if Jimmy leaves in the near future to ring chase

  26. sharpshooter0600

No everyone on r/heat told me that it was because Beal didn’t want to come here

And then they told me it was because the suns gave up too much

  27. jaxs_sax

Can’t blame someone for not wanting to spend all that money on a player when we just got to the finals for a fraction of the cost

  28. candylandmine

in other words the cruise ship industry is broke af

  29. Holiday-Somewhere-96

I want him to spend but that Beal contract is one I would have said no to.
