Kyrie’s Free Agency Is Getting WEIRD…

By all accounts, Kyrie Irving will be re-signing with the Dallas Mavericks in 2023 NBA free agency, a move that could turn out to be a DISASTER.

  1. Bro please lose the facecam until you grow your beard back lmao it’s shocking and frightening

  2. 🙄 Dude, your opinion loses a lot of credibility if you STILL think that the mavs caused Luka to miss the playin. They were missing no matter what. The mavs could have won out and they would have lost the 10 overall draft pick and missed the playin too. Don’t being ignorant.

  3. Sorry team! Dallas will always be mediocre! Sorry City! They suck in every sport! Sorry losers! Their teams are a bunch of bottom feeders! Lol 😂 Miami is the city of sports! We always win! Dallas sucks!!! TEXUSKS! Get it?!? Tex… usks! Lol 😂😂😂

  4. The dreamer I am… Dallas signs and trades Kyrie with Atlanta for Trae Young to pair with draft night trade mate in Luka. Black Hollywood gets a cultural star in Kyrie that can win with that roster

  5. The Kyrie hate is so unnecessary… Let him settle in Dallas before you judge him.. Him and look can be very good together… It's on Jason Kidd to stagger they're minutes in a way that allows them to impact the game at all times

  6. I love Kyrie in Dallas!!! The Mavs are gonna cook the league this upcoming season. Watch how many of these fugazy media personalities walk back/backtrack on all the dumb shit that they’ve been saying up until the point he signs on Friday. Mark my f’n words. I’m so sick of these goofys just talking bc they have lips and free Wi-Fi smh

  7. Kyrie has consistently put himself above the team for years. I couldn’t imagine a front office desperate enough to give him a max. However, didn’t think Rudy Gobert would go for what he did to a team that already had a center so anything can happen.

  8. Do you think that the clippers would be willing to trade Paul George for Kyrie straight up? That would be great for Dallas haha

  9. I think Dallas makes a run at Brooks. I really think Kryie is misunderstood in someways a couple of the things that happened in Brooklyn were not his fault

  10. As mavs fan and watch every game Kyrie was not the problem in fact he and Luka had a good fit the only problem was the defense and mídia stalking Kyrie for no reason

  11. Expected today, gone tomorrow. Shouldn't trust anything that comes out of that man's mouth.

  12. I think when Luka plays with Lively, Omax and Holmes he will change his mind about losing those two games.

  13. I never liked Kyrie with the Mavs and have been hoping for a sign & trade for Ayton or a pair legit starters ever since it happened. However the trade itself was genius. The Mavs were stuck. If they didn't trade for Kyrie they'd still have DFS & Dinwiddie's combined 31 million on the books. How do you think they would be "free agent players" with that money? They were able to get off Bertans money in the draft giving them the 12.5 MLE. They also control the leverage in this Kyrie deal. Nobody else wants him. We can offer a solid contract that still affords us the MLE. If he don't take it… walk. Now we have cap space for some signings. If he would rather be somewhere else, sign & trade and get some assets back. I will still stand strong on not liking Kyrie in Dallas, however it was & still is the best path to compete.

  14. People never seem to take the Mavs history into account and make it sound they have so many options, which they do not. Dallas is one of the least popular FA destinations, the biggest FA the Mavericks acquired over the last 25 years was chandler parsons of all people. Dallas has no chance other than doing risky moves if you ever want to pair Luka with a second star, they absolute have to resign kyrie. You cant just say they should not resign kyrie because people like Middleton or Green are better options, because that caliber of player just does not go to the Mavs in FA, its just not an option to start with, what does the cap space do if you never get anybody?
Also, Kyrie was absoultely not the problem last season in Dallas, the problem was mainly defense as a result of bad coaching. Nothing J kidd did last season made any sense, not playing C Wood despite all advanced stats suggesting it, Lukas ridiculous minute distribution and his weird obsession with 3 guard line-ups after the kyrie trade, where you have irving and Doncic on the floor and let THJ or Holiday bring the ball up. The best line-up the mavs had after the trade was Luka-KY-Green-Wood-Kleber and for some reason that lineup never played more than 3 minutes.

  15. I get that Luka and Kyrie aren't the perfect fit on paper. But are we seriously comparing KYLE KUZMA to KYRIE IRVING?! Come on now… Kuzma literally doesn't compliment Luka any better than Kyrie except maybe being a bit better on defense, although I have my opinions on that too. Middleton is getting older and didn't look great this past season and guys like Grant or Draymond aren't worth the max, honestly. Everybody's saying Luka has the ball too much, but then explodes of critisism when they get an all-star guard.

  16. Look. I think people over look the fact Dallas is not a destination city/team. It is easy to talk about fit, free agents and talent if you are the Lakers, Heat, NY, etc. I appreciate what the Mavs have done to put a star next to Luka (KP and Kyrie trades)…. I just don’t see a top tier free agent (who is still in their prime) choosing the Mavs. It just is what it is (it also didn’t help Luka was so good just after we started our rebuild… kept us from pooling draft-picks and young talent to go around him and go all in right away)
