I think we’ll see us using that cap to make trades instead of signing players since who we want is RFA and since we have to offer minutes to a lot of players. I hope we package a few players and in return we get a 1 better player that we can use without having to not give minutes to a player that should have minutes.

No trade can help the pistons gets to the play-in next season. Whatever trades or shuffles happen we will still be a lottery team next draft so just let the young guys play and get experience. No point in blowing the budget on one expensive player just sign a bunch of middle men for 1-2 year contracts.
I don’t understand why Kyle Kuzma doesn’t even get mentioned. I’m not saying I’m sure I want him but he is a free agent right?

I dont see Troy overpaying in FA if they miss on Cam Johnson. Troy's too smart for that Ku, we're 3 years in bro have faith. He'll go the trade route and take on a bigger contract like Hunter or someone of that mold (young player, signed 2nd contract)
