  1. A bit overly negative. It is not a forgone conclusion that if the Bulls bring back a similar group of players as last year that they are destined to the same results or to miss the playoffs again. An organization shouldn't be dependent on a billionaire owner to buy a team into contention. At the end of the day these players are young and working hard in the off-season in hopes that they can improve as individuals and as a team to compete to be better. Watching these guys compete and to see what happens is why we tune into sports. The Bulls won't be better by not resigning Vuc or by not bringing Drummond back or by not trying to bring back Coby or Ayo. There are smaller deals in free agency that could help this team. Most of the more drastic changes we read about the Bulls being urged to do, too often are just bad and more likely to set the team backwards. A tanking team is no fun to watch and this team was irrelevant for too long in the years between Rose & Butler until the acquisition of Vuc & Derozan. The Bulls didn't win the lottery like the Spurs or Blackhawks so compete the best we can with what we have and hope some of younger guys can improve to help make a difference. That is what sports is about, not all this micro managing of salary cap rules and how best to circumvent them. The Bulls can compete with this group.

  2. If the Bills extend Vuc, he should be moved to the 4, he would be much more effective. And yes running it back with the same squad is madness. A change, a very significant change has to be made. Bull Nation should be contenders, not in confusion…

  3. Ithink Vuch is a top 5 to 7 center in the league! He is worth the 20 mil they are paying him! The bulls are average because of their coach and management that does not want to pay the luxury tax! You have to spend money to make money! You have yo spend money to build a Championship contender! If the bulls dont want to spend money then they will mediocre unless P Will, Coby, Ayo and Terry take a huge leap forward in their NBA production!

  4. You guys are pessimistic to the point of being unrealistic. I have a great respect for you two. But this episode would be depressing if I took every word to heart.

  5. A total reset or tanking is not a fix. Many teams have been on the tanking path and are still stuck in the lottery. With today's lottery odds tanking doesn't guarantee a top of the draft pick. Detroit had the worse record last year but got the 5th pick. How well did tanking work for the Bulls under the Gar-Pax era? I would take a competitive team over prolonged irrelevance again.

  6. Idk what it is but over the past week or 2 more than half the fan base has seemed to think that doing the same thing and expecting different results is not only the best option, but the most logical and rational one…why? I'm starting to see more and more why Reinsdorf doesn't bother paying the tax, fans will lie to themselves and attempt to convince themselves and everyone else that the results of AKME's way of doing things thus far are just a fluke because….uhhh….reasons.

  7. Trade Zach to Indiana for Hi IQ point guard Haliburton and Turner. P-Will is focal at small forward move Demar back to shooting guard. Trade Caruso and Coby fo Jaden McDaniels(real pf).

  8. Dude with the Glasses . Enhance your calm , I know that you have orgasms playing GM & shit . But throw some positivity the Bulls way for at least this year . If it parallels your sentiment not your logic , cause you actually dont know what they will do . Then I will be the first to apologize to you . I , myself who has played organized Basketball & watched it for probably before you were born , feel like the Bulls will easily make the playoffs . It all remains to be seen though , now doesn't it . Good talk .
