Fuuuuuck
Precursor for harden trade (?)
😐
Harden to NYK
He would not have opted in with us. His wife was not happy in Portland and wanted to get back to the east coast.
Huh, that’s surprising
Kris Murray please be good
He’s just going to negotiate an extension with them instead, was telegraphed pretty hard when they agreed to push back the option date.
Pretty sure he’s going to get a major extension. With another lineup he would have been amazing to have, but we have so many guards and only so little salary room. Kris Murray is a decent consolation prize, but I miss some Josh Hart all the same.
$13m for Hart is a bargain. He’s ideal 6th man. Obviously extension incoming but I think we both won that trade.
Seriously? Is there any way we would make that trade if we thought Josh would opt in? I’m fine with it, but dang, Josh. Feels like the last several months would have gone very differently without that player option…
I miss this dude so much
What? Did the Knicks promise him an extension, or why would he risk that?
I loved Hart.
But if he had stayed we wouldn’t have scoot now….
Simons will be paid $24 mil next season to be a volume scorer. Hart will be paid just under $13 mil to do *everything else* better than Simons. The fact that the Blazer front office loves Simons and threw Hart away in a salary dump is just plain sad. The Blazers have other scorers, but Hart was the type of glue guy that all successful teams need.
