Tbh not enough teams have cap to give him that long term deal.

If he thinks he can win a ring in Philly and that what he wants, then so be it. But he had the chance to get some big money and took a team friendly team to stay in Philly.

Left a lot of money (maybe like $150m) to lose in the second round.

Fuckkkkkkk THATTTTTTT. I’d rather give it all for embiid if there’s a gun to head situation between the two. Fat boy can go back to Texas. We have enough ball dominant players. Maybe 5-6 years ago.

I’m fine with taking on his expiring. Just don’t give up any assets or extend him

I was just about to come in here and mention there’s no way we get involved with this, but apparently Woj has us listed as potential suitors.

I can’t imagine this is anything more than a leverage thing, right? After arguing over Anunoby, KAT, Lavine, PG13, Spida, and everyone else I can’t believe Harden would be the end result.

🤣🤣🤣 I’m a bucks fan. I love this knicks page for some reason. Prolly cuz of Brunson. Wild how almost every fan base is in the we don’t want him side lmfaoo

  6. What’s the strip club situation like in NYC??

  7. I’d give him a two year deal at best but tbh, vet minimum or no thanks

Leon looking to improve the team for next year with flexibility in to make moves for next years free agents.

Harden, Durant and Westbrook seem like they all want to play for every single NBA team. Back when they were all on OKC, who would have thought they’d all wind up being journeymen?

  10. Want nothing to do with him. Dude goes from team to team causing turmoil and then leaves after a year. Fuck him.

I don’t have an opinion on this. Just watching this all play put

How long it gonna take for us to talk ourselves all the way into this? 48 hours? Bet I can do it in 36

Julius Randle for James Harden and a Philly first (or two). Here is my thinking…

Obi starts. Hart plays backup 4 a La PJ tucker style.

Guards are Brunson, Harden, IQ, Grimes. Staggering so that Harden and Brunson aren’t overlapping that much.

RJ at three, with Grimes playing in that position in stagger lineups.

Mitch and Hart holding down C.

Then next season the world is are oyster. James Harden 36 mil coming off the books, Toppin and IQ hitting RFA. If they have a great season we keep them, if not we sign and trade. But we basically end up opening up a lot of cap room, with a boat load of picks and young players. A lot more flexibility than if we still have Randle on the roster.

Any team that is ready to blow it up (Bucks, Mavs, Pels etc) and we are probably their best trade partner. IQ+Obi plus a butt load of firsts for Giannis or Luka or BI or whoever.

Idk I’m having to jump though a lot of hoops as to why this could be good. It could just as easily be dumb as fuck to trade away your all star all nba PF.

No Harden please. We don’t need drama here.

  15. dolceespress

We don’t need another player who chokes in the playoffs

  16. All of us should be in for the right price!!!!

I don’t want the Knicks to touch this loser with a ten foot pole for any price. He is a team cancer, tried and true. A me-first stat sheet stuffer supreme who doesn’t win or contribute to a winning culture. He’s a diva who follows money and fame, and is exactly what the Knicks as a franchise have been and should be avoiding to build their future.
