We were never going to carry 4 pure centers and Maxi. Seemed obvious off the bar the Drummond news was indicative of a trade. Nice to have confirmation though.
I wonder if this could be part of a larger deal that includes Derozan? Maybe Drummond and Demar for Holmes, Hardaway, and 2027 FRP?
My guess is McGee has to go first?
He would be an okay addition (compared to Javale) but I wouldn’t say he’s a priority.
That would be a great pickup. Just clear the logjam of bigs (Maxi, McGee, Holmes) and Dru is a solid 5. Elite rebounder and covers other areas
Yeah that makes sense and Drummond would be a great backup big if we trade away McGee and Holmes.
This has to mean they’re shopping McGee, right? Whether it’s part of a larger trade or a salary dump is the question?
I’d love to keep Holmes. He has some offensive game in him. If we can get rid of Javale and get Drummond with a move that would be good

The one time in history we settled for a “solid center” that wasn’t running off of name recognition like Deandre Jordan was Tyson Chandler.
What happened after was we immediately won a championship.
Go get a Jarrett Allen, Robert Williams, Nic Claxton, or Myles Turner
