Hes been saying this for a while now. I guess there is 0 benefit for him if he extends at this point. So idk why this is a major shock.
Y’all overreacting. He said players of that ilk don’t extend this early with years left on their contract.
He said right now. He never said Mitchell won’t re-sign with us or extend next summer. He just said right now he won’t with two years left on his contract. It wouldn’t make any sense at all for Mitchell or any player (with two years on their contract) to extend right now. He also said Giannis won’t extend right now too. Should Milwaukee trade Giannis for fear of him leaving in two years? This is a nothing burger and an overreaction.
