I’ll take Gabe over Fred any day of the week.

Gabe is overrated, he’s a bench player hell no

Gabe is just Fred from a few years ago

I’m a fan of Gabe Vincent but he’s yet to really prove he’s starter caliber. He did have some great games in the playoffs.

Not a big fan of this. He doesn’t move the ball well. We need some more playmaking.

I like Gabe, but he is more of a combo guard. If Fred does leave we need to get a proper playmaking PG to move the ball.

Tyus Jones would be at the top of my list, but we would need to give up real assets to get him. Im not sure we should be spending FRPs on this team

  9. Not a huge fan of Gabe for us tbh. He was great this playoffs, but his regular season production leaves a lot to be desired. But mostly I think we need more of an organizer at the pg spot, and someone who can run a solid pick n roll. Gabe played mostly off ball, as Miami ran a lot of their offense thru Jimmy and Bam, and they played some of the least amount of PnR in the league.

If we’re serious about playing some sort of 0.5 offense, that starts with creating mismatches and forcing defenses to scramble. A good PnR game would be an ideal way to establish that, so it serves to reason we should target a lead guard experienced in that role.

That said, I wouldn’t be mad about adding Gabe on the mid level, just underwhelmed if he’s the only guard we add/replace FVV with.

I’d be more excited if he was like 22 but bro is 2 years younger than Fred and probably won’t be anything more than what he is – an average/below average starting PG

Gabe would be a nice addition at least as a stop-gap. I think he’ll get a lot of interest around the league. It would be funny if we got him, then Lowry after the buyout and finish ahead of the Heat.

Its a Jake Fischer rumour so not high credibility. The guy seems to have some kind of sick obsession with the Raptors.

The list of heat players that played incredible, got overpaid and then sucked is pretty long, just saying.

Praying the Darko connection lands us Micic

Nothing better than replacing an inconsistent starter with an inconsistent backup…this team is f#$ked if this is our-starting PG going into next season and we still have zero depth, he’s a solid backup but he’s not a starting caliber PG if your goal is to make the playoffs…Masai is really f#$king this team up right now

  15. any player that leaves miami always gets worst.

  16. KratosSmash

He’s a decent player but let’s not kid ourselves that’s a huge downgrade

Gabe Vincent will suck when he leaves heat. I do t trust their role players at all.
