Free Agency is hours away and the Nets have clear needs, and avenues, to improve their roster. This time Adam is looking at the backcourt where Brooklyn still needs a full time point guard, and potential Forwards on the market that would improve Brooklyn’s rebounding and perimeter shooting.
The pre-Free Agency frenzy already put a few surprising names on to the unrestricted market, and while the Nets could use starting or high-end rotation players, the Nets should also be looking at young players like Kira Lewis Jr.

Looking at these options Grant Williams stands out for his defensive versatility and ability to play different positions. Brooklyn would have to use their 18 million trade exception to get him.
Kelly oubre is another interesting option but does he fit our timeline is another question….
Colby White and Andre Drummond is another package Brooklyn should consider. White three point numbers could really go up more in a new environment and Drummond can provide good service minutes behind Claxton and help fix the rebounding issues….
As far as free agency goes today: Resign Cam Johnson and add a backup center in Christian Wood or Mason plumlee. Then after that some trades will be expected to try to get under the luxury or add more draft capital….
