We can use Lonzo Ball in our offense, he's not a shoot-first point guard, he will distribute and allow the other guys to play their roles and the younger guys to develop. Somebody mentioned it before, our medical staff is top notch up here and Lonzo would rehab and get more healthier up here. I'd love this move and if we can include Ayton that'll be nice if we don't resign Poeltl. I wanted Ayton the last couple of years now and I feel like he could fit in well here, he seemed unhappy in Phoenix for some time now and he has something to prove which is something that I love too. Ayton can dominate in this Eastern Conference more than West. Patrick Williams would be great as I feel on a team where development is better, he'll succeed even more here. It's definitely a trade that I'm rooting to happen, so send Fred back home to Chicago.

This is a dream to trade Fred for Ball and Williams, but it will not happen. Everything I said so far that would happen, is happening and I stand by what I say regarding Fred. Masai will re-sign Fred for 3-4 years and won't be traded. There are zero words from Fred and the FO about the direction they are planning to go with Fred, same as with GTJ with the silence before he opted into his contract. Fred has said that he would like to stay with the Raptors and I'm pretty damn sure Masai and Bobby want him to stay as well. If he walks, the Raptors would have to bring Dalano or Malachi to PG which would be a disaster. Barnes is not a PG and it irritates me when Raptors fans keep saying to put in the PG position. Barnes is a POINT-FORWARD. Let him perform his natural role that he excels in. Raptors fans need to stop putting so much pressure on Barnes. The bashing he got from the previous season from a lot of you people was ridiculous.

This is wishful thinking unfortunately. In a recent SI article, even the Bulls think that his knee is toast and that he is unlikely to ever play again. While I am no doctor, I know enough about how the knee works to say that if you are resorting to cartilage transplants, returning to high level NBA play is unlikely. Cartilage transplant means severe deterioration in the knee to the point of bone on bone breakdown, which is extremely painful & chronic. Cartilage doesn't magically grow back. The knee will never be the same. Word is he cannot even walk properly without major pain. Best case: gain mobility to ensure a pain free quality of life. Worst case scenario is a complete knee replacement, which of course, ends his professional career. Great idea if Lonzo was healthy but he is nowhere not. Patrick Williams is a redundant piece in our lineup, unless you plan on moving OG. Not convinced this is it.

Lonzo trying to be the first player ever to return from a knee cartilage transplant. No one has ever had this procedure and returned to play. If he was on an expiring contract and we had to take him to get Pat Williams in a S&T like we did with Dragic to get Precious that’s cool. But 2 years 40 mill left for a guy that might not play again with our cap situation is tough

Lonzo stinks. His shot is awful and he is totally injury prone. No, a better trade would be Cole Anthony, Garry Harris, and whoever else to match the salaries. I like Cole Anthony a lot more than Ball.
