Woj Confirms the Reports… Fred to the Rockets Likely Happening



Toronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet has been linked to the Rockets in multiple reports over the past week, and now ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski has confirmed the connection Ben Rogers breaks this down including reports from Michael Grannge and Eric Koreen addressing the situation as well.

    Fred is a great player. However raptors can sign the warrior pg dichenzo. He is good as Fred if not better. I would sign him. Masai make the move

    The problem i have is that we keep talking in these videos about how yes this team looks better with FVV on it cause he's a true point guard and we looked better with him than not this season… that's obvious… duh lol.. i don't speak on behalf of all the FVV haters but we dont mean just dump him and not have a point guard. Whether its gabe vincent or whoever id also have loved to see us move OG for a solid point guard, i agreed with Ryker on the post possibility of that OG for Poole trade that came out, yes the defence would have lacked, but Ben my man, the defence first isnt cutting it, we missed the playoffs, and we are one of the least intimidating teams on the offensive end, we can lose some defence. Theoretically i would have been overjoyed if we went into the season with a refreshed Poole (or insert decent PG here), Siakam, Poeltlt, Barnes, and Dick and have gary man the bench (or reverse).. that would be fun to watch. Im not saying it has to be Poole, but some more re tooling would have been fun. I love the new coach, as long as Fred is gone im willing to try running it back one more season, but we are going back in with 4/5 starters who are all dreadful from distance in a shooters league. That concerns me, however if im wrong and those 4 become killer from 3 this season under new coaching im fully willing to eat my words.

    I'll be happy to see him go… FVV was selfish … not about the team … only about FVV that's why when Lowry left we tanked

    that's why our great point guards were not developed… Scottie Barnes for one, Downton .. left in the G league, and Flynn. No one can come to the point guard while Fred Hogs all the minutes. Look what we could buy and bring in with the $ FVV is asking. He's clearly not worth it… GO FRED GO.
