Don’t need to settle for that Heat package. I know the Brad Beal trade package has kind made it seem like teams can’t get star players for less but Dame is an all time player.
The return should at minimum be a young player with star potential with multiple draft picks.

If the Heat or Brooklyn had anything decent to offer, then I’d say sure go ahead and trade him where he wants. But, the fact they don’t, combined with the way Dame handled this, I hope he gets traded anywhere but what he wants. I don’t specifically hope he fails to get a chip, but if he had done it a better way rather than lingering on and on, get Jeremi a nice contract that fucks us, so on and so forth… I’m honestly hoping he goes to a garbage team, and that’s coming from someone that loved him the second I saw his draft day press interview. I also don’t think the Heat will work if they trade for him. I’m admittedly pretty salty rn, but more about how it happened then it happening.
