Strus isn’t a “streaky shooter”. He is lights-out from the corners, sucks from the top of the key and average in between. Just take a look at his career shot chart.

I would imagine Koby and JB both know this. Given where most of Cedi/Caris/Issac/Lamar’s shots came from last season, I’m pretty optimistic about how Strus will do (assuming he doesn’t just forget how to shoot entirely).

Looks like a good finisher too – this is an awesome spread for us.

Most shooters are considered streaky. When being elite at your job means the shot goes in 4 out of 10 times it’s easy to get that reputation

If we had Strus in against the Knicks we def have some more competitive games. We were in desperate need of 3 point shooting and we got some.

Didn’t Okoro have the most open corner 3s in the league or something like that? Taking Okoro’s place on offense, he’s going to get similar looks. Defense will have to pay more attention to him than Isaac and space the floor for the core four to work.

    And undersized

    He’ll fit right in!

Right. And fast forward to a playoff series where the big 4 all play 40+ minutes. That corner 3 is absolutely critical. If that’s a real threat, the offense majorly opens up.

I don’t know how well he’s going to shoot.

But I know he’s going to get attention. Which is what’s most important.

Plus both he and Niang have a lot more playoff experience then who we lost. Both have almost 50 games. Not sure why everyone doesn’t think our team got significantly better in the last 24 hours.
