Knicks Trading Obi Toppin for Two Future Draft Picks, SNY NBA Insider Ian Begley talks NBA moves



Obi Toppin’s Knicks career is over without him getting a shot to prove what he could do with a major opportunity.

The Knicks have agreed to trade Toppin to the Pacers for two future second-round draft picks, ending the Brooklyn native’s underwhelming three seasons in New York, a source confirmed to The Post on Saturday.

The move, first reported by ESPN, can’t be officially finalized until Thursday.

Unless this move was done because a bigger move is coming then ok but if it just Donte DiVencenzo and nothing else for the upcoming season I don't like it we gave away a young player for basically nothing. If Obi turns into a star or a very good player and all the Knicks got was 2 second round picks? I would have rather moved him in a package for a star not 2 second round picks.
