Luka needs a star winger, and an above average SG, with roll players at the other 2 positions, you do that, you optimize Luka dream cream team ✌
It still baffles me that some ppl think the issue with the mavs is shooting and defense. That’s very surface level and doesn’t address core problem. Luka as he is and the style he plays will nvr win regardless of what roster he has. He needs to learn how to play off ball. The team needs to get competent shot creators who can play off luka and vice versa. The team and coaching staff needs to embrace an entirely new and more complex offensive system. And then on top of that get a mix of dense and shooting. At this rate if all they do is give luka good 3&D players they’ll just become the James harden Houston rockets team
Luka needs workers beside him … players who gives their heart for game / win ! In europe we would say players with balkan mentality , never give up … first one should be dominant center !

Trade Kyrie, Bullock, McGee, THJ, Green, and Hardy for Siakam, Anunoby, Poetl, and Achiuwa.
Seth curry is going to shut up a lot of haters 🤝. He’s not a perfect fit but the second unit with Hardy, green, curry and Holmes will be one of the best in the league. Hardy is going to make an all star team or two he is so uniquely talented.
They should build around him like a mix of Harden/Lebron. Some elite defenders and a big and then a secondary scorer (Kyrie fills this role).
I’m not a Dallas fan, I’m a Luka fan. If Sac or Miami could buy him that could be win now. But Dallas need too many pieces and don’t have the resources for changes needed. And Kyrie’s record is horrible.

Luka’s style just isn’t gonna win a championship. His style isn’t conducive to player movement or ball movement for the team overall, since he’s best when the floor is just spaced out for him and just standing outside to operate spread pick and roll or ISO with the ball in his hands all the time. That works against most teams, but there’s a ceiling for that style. High floor, low ceiling.
I will wait and see on Kyrie. The Richaun Holmes pickup was smart, they just need to get some real 3 and D wings with size or passing.
Depending on what the mavs do to get shooters during the off season I’d like to see luka bring down his ppg and commit more on defense
