The PERFECT Damian Lillard Trade Is Right In Front Of Us…
Damian Lillard has officially requested a trade, and a framework of Lillard to the Philadelphia 76ers, James Harden to the LA Clippers, and Tyrese Maxey to the Portland Trailblazers is the perfect trade.
Simmons I think is slightly overrated he is in essence a budget Trae Young qnd I don’t think Young is a good number 1 so a budget him is at beat a 6th man like Jamal Crawford or Williams(forgot his first name) If I was portland Id trade him for someone like Marcus Smart or try to get 2 picks from some team that might want him and build a contender if Scoot lives up to the hype. I mean Nurkic, Grant and Scoot are a pretty good base for a starting five get a solid 3&D wing and a SG like Smart (Maybe take a 1 year flyer and Dilion Brooks) and Portland might have something there
What if: Jalen Brown gets sent to Portland with Grant and draft compensation for Dame? Portland can run a solid starting 5 Nurkic, Jerami Grant, Jalen brown, Grant Williams and scoot
Does anybody else see the salary cap won't allow that for the 76ers to pull this, or the Clips? They can't take in another how many million on top of that unless I'm missing the 25% on LA? Someone help with that one….
Garbage take. I don't know where you're getting the idea that it's a priority for them to get Dame to a contender. Their GM straight up said as much. They can sit back and wait for the best offer, even if it takes halfway into next season.
So the Sixers have to give up half of his team, his future, his depth to… Harden, Maxey, Melton, House Jr, Furkan and picks!!! To bring Lillard??? That is about to turn 33 and you have no idea how he is going to age?? Nahhhh I'm good…
I think every team says no to this except the Clippers who got off with nothing to get Harden. Some of those first rounders should come from LA. Regardless, losing Maxey in a dame trade means you aren’t a contender – so no way do I do this if I’m Philly. Similarly, Maxey and firsts is not enough for Dame. This is not Win-win-win, this is LOSE-lose-win trade.
Of course, all considered trades are towards the end goal of getting the biggest stars in the preferred destinations. This means the 76ers get their star. The Clippers get their star. Portland gets the dregs. Media satisfied. Portland screwed. The media wants to cover star-laden, drama-filled teams. Period.
I detest Joe Cronin and always have wanted to build around Dame. We need a forced management change and investigation for gross incompetence. They are cheap and are pushing Dame out against the will of the fanbase

Damian Lillard doesn't want to play next to Joel Embiid.
For all the “I’m not trading Maxey” types, Maxey and Embiid will not win you anything.

Portland can run a solid starting 5
Nurkic, Jerami Grant, Jalen brown, Grant Williams and scoot
A young Maxey is much better to have than an OLD Lillard. This would be a disaster for the Sixers.
It's surprising to me you call this scenario PERFECT.
Nobody wants to go to Philadelphia, nobody
PG really did a 360 in a half court set 😭😭 he crazy Fr
Portland doesn't need another guard

Why is no one questioning why Jaylen Brown hasn't signed his max extension yet? 🧐🧐
Sixers not giving up maxey
Tucker this is a good trade, however I think a better one (as you mention at the end of the video) is as follows:
PHI – Dame
NO – Harden, frps from PHI
POR – Zion, frps from PHI
Why no one is talking about Jaylen Brown <> Dame possibility?

Nah keep Maxey, and turn Harden into team depth. I wanna see what Nurse can get out of Tyrese
I dont want Lilard in philly, he wont win anything there
As long as sixers are paying Tobias Harris 40m per year they aren’t a contender.
