This is going to get a little ugly, Portland tried to deal the 3rd to get something to keep Lillard, all teams said no, forcing them to use the pick on Scoot. Dame asked for a trade, Portland wants a start in return for Dame, preferably one with an expiring contract, Damian may soon find his contract is the reason Portland could not sign help for him and may be why other teams can't afford to take him on without losing something they don't want to.

Woj needs to give it a rest and stop trying to make this more than it is. Dame will be in Miami, no team is trading for a 33 y/o owed a billion dollars that doesn’t want to play for them, NO TEAM. Dame himself said 2 years ago if Portland ever traded him somewhere he didn’t want to go he’d happily sit out and lose paychecks. If I am Philly, I am not trading James Harden unless the deal is really good, the cap space next year will be enough to sign 2 max FAs since Maxey will only have a 13 million dollar cap hold because he was the 21st overall pick. At this point when Harden and Harris walk, they could sign Jaylen Brown and Pascal Siakam both to max contracts. 2 wings they desperately need to put around Embiid and Maxey.

I just don't see how Lilliard fits with the Heat, because he's an absolutely terrible defensive player. The Sixers probably make more sense, at least I guess. As for Harden, he's just bouncing around for the rest of whatever is left of his career. Any team with a competitive mindset should just avoid Harden.
