Spurs was the legit best landing spot for him .. that’s why people thought it was kinda rigged .. I don’t believe it was but gotta admit it worked out well for them
This poor kid. All those expectations, just to have a decent first season. He’s got a long ways to go to be compared to someone as amazing as Duncan.

Pop is overrated AF, literally has done nothing without Duncan a top 10 player of all time and the best PF ever.
If you think about it, we basically got the number one draft pick. Porziņģis is definitely better than him. For at least the next two years I would say.
Quit trying to sell the Celtics fans a Narrative… Nobody cares about Elliot’s failures… Tatum doesn’t have the KILLER INSTINCT…. He still wants to be Friends with his Competition… Kobe did not care about the friendship until after he destroyed you head to head & you knew he was your competitor FIRST & friend afterwards…!!! I don’t think this team has what Elliot’s had… They had fight in them this team lives on HOPES… They Shoot too many 3’s and HOPE they win…!!!!!
I love watching the stars I watched during their career. Dr. J is coaching some 3 on 3 team now. Just saw it on TV today. Maxwell and Elliott are awesome. So many, 50 or so that have boggled my mind.
Now days, only one, that freaks me out. Pritchard. Are you kidding me. Perfection.
Sean Elliot is right. Spurs have a great coaching staff and organization. Most teams that have multiple high draft picks never get over the hump once let alone many champions.
People forget that Brad Stevens wants to be Spurs East–and this is why. Sean Elliot…brings back memories; college especially.
And yes, SA was bad this year, but did we ever see the outright, disgraceful TANKING that we've seen from the Clevelands, Phillys and even Dallases of the league? No. And to the C's credit they didn't as well.
