Maybe Brad didn’t envision the Brogdon trade collapsing like it did. That’s so tough on Smart man. Also the fact the Porzingis was willing to take 60m over two years must have been way too hard for the FO to turn down to do the trade even after the collapse and Smart had to be the guy sacrificed.
