I believe he took way below market value and it will be interesting to see how the NBAPA members react, if at all. Just seems like he outperformed this contract. I realize it is a lot of money but he could have commanded more and really set his value moving forward. Potential injuries and incoming talent is too great to not maximize your opportunities. He is only going to get better so I hope he will be able to restructure this deal after a couple of years if he continues to trend up as it seems he will.

As long as acting playing coach/playing GM James is there playing point guard, all these guards – Vincent, D-Lo, Reaves, will be under-utilized. Why did D Lo's numbers suddenly fell in the Denver series? Because James was hugging the ball and not letting him do what he does best.
Facts, there's no way the Phoenix Sun's with zero Bench can beat these Lakers who have the #1 Defense and the GOAT who can still average 25 to 33 points per game in Season 21 next season. And Damian Lillard to the Spurs will be Amazing! Make it work Coach Pop. Wembanyama and Damian Lillard with the best Coach and the rest will be developed to good role players. If not San Antonio than Miami Heat to the 2nd best Coach in the league.
I love our two way players too. Castleton averaged 3 blocks per game last season with Florida. Dmoi Hodges sgot 40% from three on over 7 attempts per game. And, Cole Sniper shot 43.6% from three on over 7 attempts per game for our G League affiliate.
