  1. I don't think the problem with Brooks was him as a player but for his personality. He needed to choose between being humble or being a trash talker. The problem came when he decided to be a trash talker when he won and a humble person when he lost, humble is not the right word he more like ran away from press when he lost. A lot of old school fans and new school fans don't appreciate that. He wasn't consistent and it rubbed people the wrong way. I don't it ever had to do with how he plays. Mr. Redick has blinders when it comes to basketball players. I appreciate someone in media standing up for players but he does it every time.

  2. THANK YOU! He’s a good NBA player and knows his role. A very small percentage of NBA players are superstars

  3. i like how he was about to say i want dillon brooks on his team then switched it to “a dillon brooks” implying he wanted his playstyle archetype on his team and not the actual brooks😂😂 gotta read in between the lines 😂

  4. I fw JJ til he start bullshittin like this. I know y’all remember the Ben Simmons interview…gotta stop gassin up these scrubs!

  5. There's a lot of bad contracts in the NBA. Brooks is just another bad contract.

  6. I feel like they made Brooks a scapegoat to take heat away from the Morant gun allegations

  7. man if the grizz coulda kept brooks their starting lineup at the beginning of next season woulda been a defensive nightmare. Smart in the front court, Brooks on the wing, & JJJ holding down the paint right behind them.

  8. A 6'6 all defense guard in his prime, idk why everyone thought he wont get a contract 😂

  9. Every good team needs a villain. Dillon is the Dennis Rodman/Draymond/Metta World Peace/PJ tucker type guy that does the little things. Junkyard Dog!

  10. said this as soon as he got waived he has so much experience, any playoff experience is invaluable to up and coming contenders

  11. JJ I know you like to defend players, but the dude got clowned because he acted like a clown. I’m all for competing, but when someone is disrespectful to the point where Skip Bayless is rooting for LeBron, you know there’s something wrong.

  12. He is a solid nba player not a 20mil nba player. As soon as he signed the contract it was a bad contract for Houston. They have to many other players they are going to have to pay before that contract is up.

  13. JJ you as a former player will never clown another player or speak against getting paid, but we all know Dilon isnt worth 80m. Even if you dont want to admite it.

  14. I'm fine with a defensive pest, not someone who intentionally tries to injure other players or NBA personnel. Let's not forget how he treated a cameraman trying to do his job.

  15. His shot is Wack af but hes ok I wouldn't give a 80 million dollars. But Houston's dumb, so.

  16. I liked Dillon brooks until he didn’t own up to coming up short in the lakers series. Just wasn’t a good look if you talk trash and get whooped you gotta own up to that.
