Free agent guard Cory Joseph has agreed on a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors,
CEO Rich Paul and agent Brandon Cavanaugh tell ESPN. Joseph averaged seven points and 3.5 assists for the Pistons a season ago.
Cory Joseph highlights: Been in the league since 2011: First round pick, 29th overall by the San Antonio Spurs. 7 points and 3 assists for his career. Last year: 6.9 points per game, 3.5 assists, 42.7 percent FG, 38.9 3-pointers on almost 3 attempts.

What are the warriors doing? Sign a big!!
You will kinda understand this move is for CP3, as a backup and rotation. But again, another guard. Not much has changed from Bob Myers. As much as everybody knows, from basketball analysts to fans, the team still lack a big. Is that Saric report will happen at all? I mean, the last 5 champions has a good solid front court. GSW included. We had Bejelica and Wiseman the last time.

The warriors are the reason centers were basically useless because of Draymond ability to guard the pick n roll and be too fast for bigs to chase on the other end plus Steph and Klay could shoot so good putting a big on them they'll just shoot or drive past them now that Draymond is getting older his ability to guard pick n roll is declining and Steph and Klay aren't as fast with the ball as they used to be so the bigs are back plus you didn't have any super skilled bigs that had the right help to exploit the warriors boogie was on a weak team AD and boogie was hurt that year that could've beat them that's why the raptors was gonna win regardless marc gasol and ibaka with kawhi and pascal they were too big that's why kd and Klay got hurt too physical for them so now you got jokic embiid and Giannis all with proper help the warriors when if they were in their prime with KD would not win because people realize you need a wing star to go along with a great big so they gotta realize bigs are back and get a defensive big body at least

Just the first day….calm the hell down yall
This is obvious. The rookie won’t play. This is to add depth behind cp3 because he’s going to rest quite a bit. Think to last season when we had to play Ty Jerome. This is a massive upgrade for guard depth and experience that they need. A good defender and a good 3 point shooter. It’s a great signing with that in mind. They will go get saric and hopefully a defensive center to fill it out.

Warriors can only dumpster dive for 1-year, veteran minimum contract. It’s not like the team has options or can be aggressive. They’ll get whatever scrap heap players that are left over after all the other teams that can pay more are done shopping.
