Also I know not to pay attention to what other fanbases say about the suns I usually ignore it I just can’t help but think that these people think the suns popped out of no where in 2021

  2. SnorkelTeamSix

    Fuck ‘em.

Only a problem when we do it, not Brooklyn, LA, LA Jr., Golden State, Miami, Boston, etc? Suck our collective dicks.

  3. bungajaji

    100% Lefans.

To them, it’s Ok when LeSuperteam does it but absolutely absurd when KD or anybody else does it.

  4. Sea-Dragonfly-3840

Who cares . They are dumb . There isn’t a prescriptive “right” way .

  5. WusijiX

Championship done the right way champions done the wrong way the champagne will all taste the same

  6. iabeytorm

We drafted our best player, there’s two other contenders in Boston and Philadelphia that can say the same thing. We drafted Ayton too and he would have to be a key piece of a championship run. We are as home grown as you can get in todays NBA other than the Nuggets

  7. redtacoma

with all due respect, you can suck it from the back

  8. rocquet

could the same not be said for james and bosh joining the heat? or the celtics trading for garnett and allen?

  9. TraeCartoon

“People won’t respect me until I win a ring with Scoot.” – KD

Fuck everyone who has a problem with the Suns putting a real team around Devin Booker.

  10. despicablecrip

What steps did they skip lmao? Built through the draft with Book, Mikal, Cam and Ayton. Just a bunch of salty haters

    Embrace the hate!!!

It’s an ignorant narrative if you ask me. The history of the league is full of questionable moves. Moves that are not good for the “spirit of basketball”. Pau Gasol only become a laker because jerry west was a laker legend working in the Memphis front office, the same with KG and Kevin McHale. The lakers owning the pick for Magic Johnson is a ridiculous story same can be said for Celtics owning the pick that was utilized to obtain McHale & Parish. Hell James Harden taking a discount last year can be seen as immoral. Isn’t tanking bad. Well the spurs have outright tanked for both Tim Duncan & Wemby yet they did the it the “right way” and Phoenix competing and become an ideal franchise that players want to play for is somehow wrong? We overpaid for Kd in comparison. Kd also mentioned how great the fanbase is when playing in OKC and Beal talked about the city and our treatment of Book. So fuck em. Fuck em all.

That you gotta stop giving a shit what random people on Twitter think. Its like basing your diet on the contents of a dumpster.

I think he’s a dumbass. How did we skip steps? Was he in a coma the 11 years we missed the Playoffs. If you think WE skipped steps, then you’d have to argue that a LOT of Championship teams skipped steps because we did the exact same thing they did. You’d have to say the LeBron James Miami Heat skipped steps. You’d have to say the Curry, Klay, KD, and Draymond Warriors skipped steps. Nephews like this one are annoying.

  15. Vegan-Kirk

We literally traded our core for stars.

It’s not like kd just picked us in free agency because we were amazing

We risked everything to build this team.

Years and years of rebuilding for this team now

  16. omnicious

My thoughts are how are you managing to use your limited twitter posts these days reading shit like this?

  17. Stuie299

Wait, so a team who has never won a ring before finally wins a ring, and that would be bad for the sport? I get they we’re a super team without a lot of homegrown talent, but fuck it’s not like we’re the Lakers or Celtics who’ve won it a million times already. Let us have our god damn moment!

  18. ColdNyQuiiL

I’m not even a Suns fan, but you guys were horrible for a long ass time after Nash, no hope, no consistency, questionable moves etc.

How is hitting a home run on a player like Booker, and him emerging as an attraction for elite players to want to play with him, and make a title run, bad?

  19. Victorcreedbratton

Totally fine when AD forces a trade to LA, or KD going to the Warriors. He has no problem with the Heatles, or Lebron going to Cleveland after they had 3 #1 draft picks in like four years. That’s all good for the sport.

Really disappointed with Suns fans in this thread. You realize the problem is not your team, it’s you the fans. People would be a lot less mad if you didn’t act entitled to respect and looked at the situation logically. Your team right now has DBook (fringe superstar), KD (superstar who needed the greatest team of all time to win a chip), and Beal (hasn’t won a thing in his life and is on the decline), all of whom primarily operate in the midrange. Ayton is an average starting center. Your bench is not historically bad but it is bottom 5 in the league and easily the worst of any playoff team. You are good, you are a title contender, no one denies that. You are also not the favorite, everyone in the league sees it but you, but instead of engaging in discussion, you right then off as haters and return to your echo chamber. You’re choking on Matt Ishbia’s wallet without having seen a game of basketball played. I have never seen a fanbase so self victimizing. Forgive the rest of us NBA fans if we give more respect to other big threes, simply because they are better big threes, and better benches because they are better benches, smarter trades becuase they are smarter trades. What could’ve been excited optimism you have into shock and disgust and “woe is me” isms because the rest of the league isn’t ready to hand you the trophy before the season has started. Get. Over. Yourselves. You are the problem, you’ve made your players harder to like. We don’t dislike your players, we dislike their pissy advocates.

To be fair tho, it’s less of a step being skipped and more so a departure of what made the Suns a likeable team before the embarrassing Mavericks series. Mikal, Monty, and CP, the three most likable Suns guys are all gone, what’s left for the average NBA fan? Just a Nets V2. But yeah, duh, y’all sucked forever, and built it up organically, and despite everything I’ve said, the bubble year until the Mavs loss, you were so much fun to watch and root for casually as a fan of another fanbase. It’s a shame the best parts of those suns teams are now gone

(If you are reading this Munchlax, I’m sorry, I’ve just had it about up to here with so many people not even willing to engage in a dialogue, Gem is great)

My team has been around over 50 years. No titles.

My team has taken more steps than you can imagine. Every step possible. Multiple times.
