Dame even said he was the one that will take over the team once dame is gone

  2. Ohrobohobo

He’s a good player. 1-2-3 positions will all have springs for legs.

  3. RipcityJawa

If there’s one positive to Dame leaving, having enough minutes to go around for Scoot, Ant and Sharpe is a massive one now. Real excited to see the synergy between the 3 of them.

So you’re also a fan of the 3 guard lineup we’ve been running for over a decade.

  5. a_lovesupreme

    Definitely deserves his flowers.

Seems like Anfernees accomplishments and potential have been swept under the rug with this Sharpe, Scoot and this Dame business- I’m glad no one is paying attention so we can hopefully keep the 👑🔥🐜 🌹🌹

It will be interesting to see what lineups we roll out. Start Scoot and Sharpe and bring Simons off the bench in a 6th man role or slide Sharpe over to 3 and start all three of them? I think Scoot and Sharpe is our backcourt of the future and I’m kind of over the undersized lineups if I’m being honest, so that’s how I’d lean. Either way, there’s enough minutes for all of them and it will be fun to watch Simons ball out once Dame’s gone.

I fucking love him man. Such a sharpshooter and does p&r well just as anyone. Just wish he would run some sets as a PG instead of iso ball

  8. GoodMorningSpliff

Man it sucks to loose Dame but the silver lining is definitely the fact we will most likely be keeping Ant for the next couple of years. All the trade ideas involving him made me kinda sad.

  9. likpoper

Keep him. He is very different style from scoot. Could really explode

  10. It’s weird to me how much we loved him a year ago and now everyone has turned on him after one so-so season

  11. olenikp

No, I’d prefer if we traded him for something and kept Dame

  12. vibinotter

He’s gonna explode without having to live with all the dame touches, if dame moves to the east he has a legit shot at an ASG next year

  13. OG_Kazaam

Ant is good, but needs to be traded to kick off the actual rebuild

  14. Scalmaa

Idk. Id use him to balance out the frontcourt, along with dame.

  15. MainHyro

I’m glad we kept him (for now) but he can’t be here much longer. Ant has a 40ish game sample size to see if he can replicate anything close to his 28/3/6 on .46/.41/.94 stats starting without Dame. A guy averaging that on $25m/year for another two years after this one is a bargain value.

  16. Frosti11icus

Glad to have him if Dame is gone. Same with CJ, just a bad fit together.

  17. ipadsammy

Love Anfernee. Didn’t like that he was going to be the part of any trade, but I understood it.

Happy to keep him. He’s a baller.

  18. MaTuLoPDX

We still may move him this offseason, though. If the Dame trade doesn’t have any other major blazers pieces involved, Ant may get wrapped up in a Nurk trade.

  19. Wagonlance

Honestly, my hope is that Scoot and Sharpe surpass him and we can trade him for value.

If he was either as good a playmaker as Dame or a positive asset on defense it would be different.

  20. tblazrdude

Ant is awesome. Keep him and develop him or trade him. Let’s see what he’s like without Dame around.

  21. sahand_n9

ANT is great. He’s humble, hard working, and very motivated. He picked up a lot of Dame’s techniques too. ❤️

  22. Bieberkinz

I think Ant could still be moved, but I also wouldn’t hate the idea of him being paired with Scoot to compliment each other. Ideally, Shaedon further improves on defense.

  23. DharmaBaller

ANT went from trade bait to veteran of the rebuild

  24. ExtensionNorth994

As much as it sucks losing Damian. The future is bright with Scoot, Shaedon and Anfernee. More like Chauncey B style. Now let’s get a dunking athletic center and we good

  25. shelvino

I think Simons is really freaking good. Like a legit 25/6 on his own team

  26. tiredhunter

I like Ant, but at this point, I’m not making any judgments about what the roster is going to be in 23-24.

  27. JonStarkKITN284

Simons defensive rating is 116. Let’s ship him out for assets and hopefully get a raw, taller guard with a much higher defensive ceiling to develop.

Simons would probably be great trade deadline bate.
