If you look at the Eastern Conference playoff teams, which team really got better this off season except for Boston? Bucks same, Philly who knows ( probably worse), Cavs same, Nets worse, knicks same if not worse, atlanta worse, bulls same. Point is, some of these middle pack teams didnt get better while teams like Indiana and Detroit keep catching up. Ican see teams like indiana and detroit moving ahead of nets and knicks in seeding next year.
Other than Boston, Milwaukee and Cleveland, the rest of the East took some steps back while Indy put it's foot on the gas. Barring injuries the Pacers could be hosting a playoff series this year.
*If somehow Miami does pull off a miracle and gets Dame then I would definitely include them with the teams I mentioned above. But as the East sits today as I write this that's a very unlikely scenario.

Pacers will not make it out the 1st round. Play in 7 or 8 seed is best case scenario
