Plumlee got insane passing skills and rebound range, can shoot and dribble with both hands equally well (which is rare in the NBA).
He was phenomenal in the playoffs:
88% FG percentage + Two double-doubles, with just playing on average 8.2 minutes per game in the 5-game series.
Game 1: 3-3 FG, 11 rebounds, 2 assists
Game 2: 0-0 FG, 2 rebounds
Game 3: 2-2 FG, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block
Game 4: 3-4 FG, 6 rebounds, 3 assists
Game 5: 6-7 FG, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal

Build a system around Plumlee as the center. Play him 35+ mins and let him do his things. Not saying he will be the next Jokic or Sabonis, but he is a guy that can average double-double and near triple-double if you let him. Trade Zubac away for a solid backup C/PF who can shoot three.

Plumlee is a fine backup big but you have to be trolling if you think he’s even halfway good enough to build an offense around lmao
I’m convinced some of you have never watched an NBA game before…
This post was great until it wasn’t. I do hope that the team can bring him back though, we can’t have this season be a repeat of last.
I would guess they bring him back.
I would like Plumlee back but not as the starter, he’s a good backup and Zu is a good starter. It shouldn’t be seen as anything more than that
I’m also a Hornets fans and have loved watching his journey on the Clippers! However I don’t think he is a player you build a team around. As others have said, he is a great back up center. He did a great job of keeping the energy up when the second string was in in the play off games! Hope they keep him 🤞🏻
