Oh no, a level headed take. Get that out of here OP and grab a torch or a pitchfork.

I don’t think people realize how much the cap has gone up. Clearly the new tv contract is being priced in as well to these deals. I would bet good money year 3 and 4 look very fair after another round or two of free agency.

Wont matter once we make playoffs/play in

2 of those guys have terrible contracts and low value (hunter / barrett).. wiggins is way better offensively, and levert is on a 2/32 deal.. very different then 4/80

I always thought Brooks was a baller and liked him. I just found him to be an idiot to trash talk the GOAT after one win.

Thybulle: Career 33.4% from 3. Almost as good as Brooks

He is not a step ahead of wiggins on defense lmao

For all the praise you are singing, his last team said “under no circumstances will he be brought back” so let’s not pretend we fleeced him away when his last team didn’t even want him

Not a big rockets fan, but I really like what you guys are doing. You guys got some tone setters on and off the court – FVV, Brooks and Jeff Green. All tough dudes that can help to set up some kind of structure and identity for this young team. Great off season so far!

I think justifying a bad contract isn’t necessary.

Honestly, while not super excited about the signing, I’m ready to see how he plays as a ROCKET not that weird ass Grizzly team chemistry. I feel like this has the potential to be similar to getting Josh Smith; not a widely accepted or understood move (besides defense presence) until we needed him the most.

  12. You guys really let r/nba nephews bully you into thinking this wasn’t a good deal.
