Media really doesn’t want him in Miami
If I’m Dame, I trust the Heat far more than the 76ers.
Everyone is so convinced about the Heat as if they didn't just lose ALL their depth that GOT them to Finals! People talking like they weren't a Tatum INJURY away from losing 4 straight games to Celtics,, who just added PORZINGIS… But yea I know yall wanna pick& choose when to decide INJURIES gonna affect a team.. Heat adding Dame does nothing but take the ball OUT of Butlers hands but its crazy how the media so CONVINCED that would make them "Favorites" when they haven't won anything Celtics and Heat have had SAME Playoff success over past 5yrs so im not sure why folks acting like otherwise besides the fact everyone hates on Celtics lol🤦🏿♂️

i think there needs to be a third team involved or 4th team to really expand the assets.
miami's window is also small but not as short as the sixers.
dame wants to be in Miami. dame should tell portland to do whatever they can to get the best deal so he can land in Miami. if they need 3-4 teams involved, so be it. as long as dame is in a heat uniform.
Nuggets lost their 6th man. Celtics and Heat/76ers may be vastly improved. I know West may still be better 1-8 but East looking mighty top heavy right now.

Dame is not the ‘golden ticket’ to the Finals. There is no such ticket. The ESPN/league wide negativity/hatred towards the Heat is palpable. The LEAGUE wants to STOP the Heat. Whatever it takes. Problem is, Philly is not on Dames list. I expect Portland to trade him to his least desirable destination. Philly or Boston. Dame will be miserable. Dame will be injured a lot. Portland is destined to become the worst franchise in the NBA. Times have changed. Petty over class. The Heat will be better with OR without the trade.

No one, NO ONE, can blame Dame for wanting to leave Portland. He’s been faithful, but the Blazers just haven’t put the needed players around him. Nurkic and (for awhile) McCollum were key pieces (I’m forgetting one or two), but not enough. Best to Dame! Maybe Portland can work through drafts and, like Denver, put a great team together, tho Jokers don’t grow on trees.
