I kind of see Javon as like a bridge pg until Lonzo's money is fully off the books and we can use it to try and get a true PG of the future. On paper AKME are making some smaller but improving moves now we just need to see it on the court. Nothing they've done is offensive and even if they don't work they don't cost us anything. I'm hoping with this exception we can another PF to help round out the roster.
I think JC is going to be a good piece, I like his mindset and his willingness to pull-up.

In Peter Patton I really like this guy he's a Chicago which I didn't know but we know how native Chicago people take a lot pride. In playing or coaching. So I'm really excited for are youg players and coaches. I live in Vegas and can't wait to watch are guys in the summer league. I'm watching 4 players Dalen Terry, Julian Phillips,Sanogo, and especially I can't wait to see Justin Lewis play. We have a good young core of guys. He said he wasn't going to file for the career ending injury exception. He never said they wouldn't file for the disabled player exception.
If they used the DPE at the deadline – could they aquire bird rights in that move? Also, would potential player's contract be prorated at that point? Example a current 25mil player only having 10 left at deadline on his contract would we be able to aquire and retain their bird rights for next year.

Could you S&T Caruso for Grant Wil/PJ? It would leave ayo, dpe (hopefully), MLE and biannual to try and offset the loss of Caruso. Get a little bit bigger & little better shooting.

What happened to Onuralp Bitim?
Bulls got better with less spending. Compare Javon contract with FVV. FVV would be better but even if we could do it we'd have no more money, no more flexibility to add another piece and would be a more difficult contract to move later on. Julian Phillips is not DJJ. DJJ is 6'5 and can't bulk up. JP is 6'7, can bulk up and is one of the most athletic players on his draft class. At one point he was the 3rd best in some offensive category and Brandon Miller was 4th, he was better at that stat category than the 2nd pick overall. Top 5 defender in the class too. Top 1 vertical. He's not DJJ, he really have a lot of upside and high ceilling.
