I have heard of at least one situation where they spoke to another team about flipping Quickley for a very good player in his prime. Talks didn’t go far, and it did not seem equivalent to what was going on this past autumn when the Knicks had legitimate discussions with various teams about dealing Quickley for a first-round pick or something like it.

RJ is more talented than Q.Grimes. Q is going in such a deal. Mr. Dolan is not trading RJ.
Q. Grimes getting traded will not impact the Knicks franchise but trading RJ will.
I don’t care what the trade RJ fans think. I will never be willing to trade RJ to another basketball team.
I.Q is also more talented and more valuable of a player than Q.Grimes.

Who scored more points RJ or Q.Grimes? It’s RJ by a landslide and before CT reduced RJ minutes he was averaging 20.3 points per game and still finished the season with at least 19.0 per game average. RJ is also 6 feet 7. He will improve his scoring game with practice and hard work. He will work hard to improve his defense and also will condition himself this summer so he can improve his quickness. He lost some quickness through his career injuries.

Why can't we just develop IQ, RJ, and Quentin? Unless we can get Embiid or a top 10 player, we shouldn't be just trading them.
As usual, Knicks fans are over valueing their players. . not a starter period and is not consistent. On multiple occasions last season, he disappeared or looked completely lost, dribbling in circles, chucking up horrible shots . Going into the luxury tax for a non title contending team just to overpay IQ would be classic LOL Knick move .Trade him while his value is high or pay him to match salary them trade him , either way trade him .
