They owe it to dame he's made them easily triple they've paid him in contracts they got scoot and should just take everything Miami will send them and move on
Nicks forgot kawhi Leonard trade, spurs shipped him to Canada because they gave the better offer. If Lillard wanted to win he shouldn't have sign the extention but the plus 100 millions in 2 year was better than a ring. And I am a Lillard fan
Portland doesn’t owe him anything. They gave him a bag and let him run the show for a decade. Yes, they failed to build around him (though some of it was Dame’s fault), and if don’t want to fail Scoot, then they need to get maximum return for Lillard
This is why players force they way out there is no loyalty in business ask Marcus smart. Boston didn’t have enough respect to tell the man they was trading him
Broussard knows this but won’t say it – you trade the superstar where he wants to go because it shows to all the other super stars We’ll work with you not against you. And in a league where a superstar can change the entire franchise it’s an important message for everyone to see…
Broussard is fact, but to treat Dame right and respectfully is to grant him his desired destination because of his loyalty, otherwise it is going to get ugly!!
It's a good long term policy for your franchise to have a reputation for doing just by players like the Damians of the NBA. Having said that, no team should have to shoot themselves on the foot to please a star who is moving on. A balance has to be reached, and everyone should leave a little on the table, The Jazz, The Heat and Lillard.

Lol it’s funny how dame can go join a team that made the finals but they trash kd for joining a team that loss in 2nd round in the suns.

If Boston offered Jalen Brown and picks I’m taking that deal over the Miami proposed deal.

So Joe Tsai wasn't so bad after all then?

it’s lose lose for modern nba players. we ridicule kd for ring chasing but in the same breath ridicule dame for being loyal.
This title is bullshit

Dame prefers Miami but as long as he ends up on a contender he will be satisfied. So heat Celtics sixers clippers, golden state hell lakers
