I'd heard that Kristaps is a bit of a red@ss, actually, and VERY intense.
I'll say it again, KP has averaged exactly SIX fewer games a season than Marcus Smart the past four seasons. I NEVER hear anyone talk about how much time Marcus misses, but no one can talk about Porzingis without mentioning it. His health has been getting incrementally better for a few years now.
Team basketball and a defensive identity is going to win the chip.

Why would we think of his age 27 season as OUTLIER? Because we have some unspoken narrative about Porzingis–that on some level he's not quite legit. It's silly.

Respect David a lot, but he thinks Dallas–with two ball-dominant, no-D GUARDS–are gonna be "pretty good?" Ummmm.

Just a comment: KP and Jokic were the best at post ups in the league last season. Kristaps stats are right there with JB.. KP played less minutes and had less touches than JB. He otherwise is capable of giving you 28+ points per game. KPs FG% was 49.8 and JBs 49. His analytics were at an elite level along with A Davis, Jokic, Giannis, and more. Ball movement will give us the best of KP. I hear things on this podcast that lead me to believe they have not watched KP much last season.
Denver has no Smart or Draymond. They are not needed at all.
Kyrie's talent is meaningless. He destroys teams.
