Embiid is overrated AF.
He had Jimmy, who is doing great with role players around him in Miami
He had Harden, a former MVP, and can really light you up, and led assists last year, even with Brooklyn with KD and Kyrie, harden was insanely good, if the whole drama and injuries did not hinder them, they would have won it all and would have been a possible finalist for the next 2-3 yers.
I don't see anything happening if you replace Embiid with Harden, and give up even more players.
Embiid not gonna stop Giannis, and the Celtics now have a good big man too, Bam is there with Jimmy, and you still have Jokic, Suns are deadlier, GSW will be back as well,
so even if they make it out of the East, they are not winning anything,
Philly needs to play out the Embiid era, and just start over after his contract is over. The whole Ben Simmons issue just wasted time and cause an unnecessary James Harden trade, they should have traded Tobias and Ben, and got them a good perimeter shooter and another big with Embed, Play a 2 man big guy game, If you watch the bucks, Whenever Jrue or Chris are off, you have Lopez, who is also a great defender, and that works great with Giannis. Something similar might work with Embiid, but as far as a Guard / Center Combo, it just does not work with Embiid,

Regardless of embiids injuries, dude is soft as a cotton ball. I NEVER seen a role player (PJ Tucker) have to give a mvp a pep talk in the middle of a playoff game. Straight up Charmin soft. Losing or not I never seen dame shy from that moment
