The Cs would be much better swapping Jaylen for a star PG, but I wouldn't love Dame, who's older (33) and banged up. If it were for Darius Garland (23) or Trae (24), then I'm all-in. But Dame (33) isn't good long-term value

If we get Damian Lillard, I have a feeling it will be like when we got Kemba walker. Getting him at the end of his prime and he will be plagued with injuries. So don’t do it.

If we sign and trade grant we won’t be getting salary like that back otherwise we would just sign him. Instead it will be a young player on a rookie contract or min contract with a pick or something. Something like Jalen Smith and a second round pick from pacers.
Or Josh green and a second round pick from mavericks
Jaylen was flat out abused by the
Miami heat’s bench in the east finals. He’s pretty overrated as a defender.
Not to mention he fumbled a golden opportunity to prove he can be a #1 option…and all but quit by the end of game 7. He doesn’t deserve that supermax deal.
