[Grange] This doesn’t mean Siakam being moved is automatically going to be the next shoe to drop. He turned down a three-year max extension at the beginning of last season in the hopes that he would qualify for his third all-NBA team and thus become eligible for a ‘super max’ extension.

Pascal will play well this season and get a lot of money most likely.
Kicking the can down the road only makes the rebuild worse (see FVV trade). The writing is on the wall that pascal will not win another chip in Toronto
Sorry but the rest of the league is putting up crazier and crazier numbers. 3 years ago Siakam would have been a lock but now he’s just another all star caliber player. He’s never making an All NBA team on this team again, even if he starts putting up crazy numbers we won’t be winning games regularly and win’s are a good chunk of what voters care about when it comes to All NBA.
An interesting aspect to all of this is the Collins trade – which isn’t official until July 6th.
