    I'm currently 18 and didn't watch a game of basketball until the year Isaiah Thomas got here. I've never seen a live Celtics game without Marcus Smart on the roster (obviously I know the team's history of course). It's gonna be weird to watch them without him. I'll miss him.

    This hurt worse than trading Isaiah Thomas. Smart has been my favorite Celtics player for a while. He is irreplaceable. I hope that in a couple years when his trade value gets a little lower, we can pick him up again and eventually let him retire as a Celtic.

    Gave it all ON and OFF the court. Celtic fan since the 70's and he is the only one on last years team that deserved to wear that jersey. Sad day for all of us who believe in more than just winning games.

    Smart was Drafted 6th, Played 9 Seasons and was a huge part of 4 ECF runs and then got us 2 First round picks and Porzingis. He will get a great oppurtunity in Memphis and if he helps them win some Playoff Series then it will really help his Legacy
