Most Concrete Proof Yet the Knicks want OG

[https://www.sportsnet.ca/nba/article/as-raptors-continue-player-and-coaching-staff-turnover-will-siakam-be-next-to-go/](https://www.sportsnet.ca/nba/article/as-raptors-continue-player-and-coaching-staff-turnover-will-siakam-be-next-to-go/)

Not exactly breaking news, but after Katz said they went after him at the trade deadline, and people already putting the breadcrumbs together (CAA), we got this today from Michael Grange, the most plugged in Raptors beat writer.

>If Siakam goes, the focus will turn to [O.G. Anunoby](https://www.sportsnet.ca/basketball/nba/players/og-anunoby/900535) — the smooth-shooting, all-NBA defender who remains on the watch list for several teams, the New York Knicks especially.

Rumors of a Siakam to Atlanta trade coming together, so this is definitely something to keep an eye on quickly if that happens.

I hope it’s true. Trading RJ and quickley or some combination of guards for OG would explain signing donte

  2. cesarjulius

the hawks are trying to center their trade around aj griffin. that’s not gonna work

  3. AutisticFingerBang

Just like every off season boys, a lot of smoke and alittle fire. Raptors, clippers, sixers asking prices are all way too high for anyone to take them seriously.

  4. DisplayAcrobatic

If they pull this off, that’s a very good squad we have there. But plz keep Grimes man

What would be your best and final offer for OG?

  6. baylixir

I would be shocked if RJ is a Knick by the start of next season. They’ve been determined to find an upgrade.

you might want to reassess your definition of concrete proof

He wants more shots. He’s going to get ‘em with Siakam gone. Why would he come here to be third fiddle. 4th if Quickley is on the court

IQ, Fournier, unprotected first, protected first. I think that’s fair for both sides, gives Raptors their PG for the future with legit all star potential and two first rounders.

Everyone claims to want to trade for OG yet don’t even know what OG stands for without looking it up. Smh.

i would be absolutely ecstatic if we could secure og, hes a picture perfect fit for our team

Imo, OG does not make this team a championship contender. I feel it’s pretty lateral (depending on who’s traded) except they’ll have to build the chemistry up again

  13. I don’t want to do ANY business with Masai. If anything, he’ll make the starting price Grimes and 8 FRP.

  14. solo118

Knicks want OG, but Masai wants our first born children.

Sorry we can’t deal with a guy like that, unless he caves and comes down to earth.

Idk . I took also feel as if OG is the real target here.

There’s def going to be another move of either IQ or RJ.

I think we see a deal looking like RJ, Fournier, Sims, and 2-3 first rounders (one from us unprotected, the others protected from us or other teams), which I’d do. Fit-wise, OG makes a lot of sense and fits the timeline of our team too. Love RJ and can’t wait to see what he’ll become, but I’m taking the upgrade if I can get it.

Him leaving klutch sports was big, but doesn’t make it a given. But man is he the best person to trade for. Fits perfectly.
