We need to consider trading for Dame even if we don’t want to, just so Miami doesn’t get him. It’s an unfortunate situation, but it is what it is. Miami getting him puts them over us, but if we get him we’d easily clear.

My guess is a Jaylen-less trade would be something like Brogdon/Al/Time Lord/multiple FRP’s & swaps for Lillard.

Been saying this all week to people and they think that the trade has 0% chance of happening without Brown being involved. It wouldn’t make sense for Boston to trade Brown for Lillard. As good as Dame is, he’s not going to make the team significantly better if they trade Brown for him. Brown is an All-Nba player who’s like 6-7 years younger than Dame. Not to mention how good he is on defense. If a deal is done then it would revolve around Brogdon, Rob Will and picks.
The longer this goes I think the more everyone one involved thinks about it a bit more, ya never know🤷…..
A starting 5 of Dame, The Buffalo, JB, JT, and the Zinger would be absolutely nuts.

Honestly feels like it would end up as a too many cooks in the kitchen situation… Again.
Not saying it wouldn’t work, it’d have the potential to turn us into a team so good could walk to the finals. But we’d need absolute buy-in from Jaylen and Porzingis, cause going from being the 2nd/3rd option to the 3rd/4th is a big difference.
I’d be fine with trading Brown for him so I’d be ecstatic to keep him and still get Dame.

Is this guy legit? Realistically I doubt we’d get dame without offloading jb, but we could definitely put out a better offer than Miami. And if brad is willing to take that chance of forcing dame to sit out or compete (he should) that team would be unreal.
