We need to consider trading for Dame even if we don’t want to, just so Miami doesn’t get him. It’s an unfortunate situation, but it is what it is. Miami getting him puts them over us, but if we get him we’d easily clear.

My guess is a Jaylen-less trade would be something like Brogdon/Al/Time Lord/multiple FRP’s & swaps for Lillard.

  3. jakesmannequin

If we’re keeping Jaylen and Derrick then I’m good with anything. Dame is my favorite non-Celtic and to end up with him after all this would be amazing

  4. JaylenBrownFlow

if this happened miami would implode

Trade Brogdon and picks for Dame. Win chip with Dame. Trade Dame next summer for Marcus Smart. 🧠

  6. luvvdmycat

    It is happening.

It is time for Dame to Boston.

  7. BradyGronktd1287

Timelord, Pritchard, Brogdon, and picks beats any deal Miami makes.

I’d honestly wouldn’t mind another Big 4 here. It worked last time

  9. BobbyGuapo

idk, the last 3 big trades we made came out of nowhere really. Porzingis, brogdon, white. brad has a tight lip and no real leaks so I feel like this is more out of Portland to drive up the price

As a blazer fan I’d be so down w this just to drink the tears of heat fans. MFs are insufferable.

I want this trade more to stick it to Miami then I’d want Lillard. Lmaooooo

  12. paintingfainter

I’ve said it for weeks and I’ll say it again…I just have a good feeling about this.

  13. mondomovieguys

This will never happen. Still, if we had a big 4 of of JT, JB, Damn and KP the league would quite likely be fuuuuuuucked. But yeah it makes no sense.

  14. renegado938

Brogdon, both Williams, and a bunch of first round picks I’m in!

  15. urasquid28

Jaylen Brown dickriding in here is unbelievable. He is one of the most overrated players in the league

If you want to win playoff games in Miami then the heat are the wrong team to join

Been saying this all week to people and they think that the trade has 0% chance of happening without Brown being involved. It wouldn’t make sense for Boston to trade Brown for Lillard. As good as Dame is, he’s not going to make the team significantly better if they trade Brown for him. Brown is an All-Nba player who’s like 6-7 years younger than Dame. Not to mention how good he is on defense. If a deal is done then it would revolve around Brogdon, Rob Will and picks.

The longer this goes I think the more everyone one involved thinks about it a bit more, ya never know🤷…..

  19. Nepiton

A starting 5 of Dame, The Buffalo, JB, JT, and the Zinger would be absolutely nuts.

If that team stays healthy and we had a decent enough bench… that’s 70+ win potential

  20. HighlandHilltopper

I don’t even want him I just want the heat cult weirdos who think the world is rigged against them to be mad

  21. rascalmendes

One signed Yabusele jersey for Dame. Who says no?

  22. We’d have to offer like Brogdon, Rob Williams & Horford or something crazy like that. I know we can involve other teams but we have to ship out salary and there aren’t a ton of options

  23. SylvesterLundgren

How the fuck isn’t this already posted to /r/nba?

  24. Sweaty_Ad440

Honestly feels like it would end up as a too many cooks in the kitchen situation… Again.

Not saying it wouldn’t work, it’d have the potential to turn us into a team so good could walk to the finals. But we’d need absolute buy-in from Jaylen and Porzingis, cause going from being the 2nd/3rd option to the 3rd/4th is a big difference.

  25. Smelldicks

I’d be fine with trading Brown for him so I’d be ecstatic to keep him and still get Dame.

  26. Fuckblackhorses

Is this guy legit? Realistically I doubt we’d get dame without offloading jb, but we could definitely put out a better offer than Miami. And if brad is willing to take that chance of forcing dame to sit out or compete (he should) that team would be unreal.

  27. jbland0909

I really don’t see how any trade that doesn’t involve Brown beats the heats offer without dumping our entire bench

  28. CertifiedCapArtist

Seeing miami tears would make it worth it

  29. shortpersonohara

without JB i will commit unspeakable acts. at the bare minimum drive the price for miami up, make them give up all their depth. it’s really dame or bust, they’re flouting signing josh richardson as their top addition lol

  30. jotyma5

I don’t want to lose white rob and grant.

  31. macadoo784

I don’t think there is a feasible way to make that deal. Would be amazing if Brad could somehow pull it off.

  32. kpeds45

I like how all these teams can make trades without giving up and assets. I’m sorry, if Boston calls and said “none of our good players are available”, why are they a sneaky team for a trade?

  33. TheOneWhosCensored

Unless there’s a JB move, this makes no sense. Cap would be insane, and we’d have no depth.
