The roster is fine as it is. Ayton is a chemistry cancer. OG would be nice. But they want to much. Better to just wait and if Brown ain't working you can cut him and grab OG in FA.

The Ayton ship has sailed away and should remain out of the question. That said, I agree pursuing OG next offseason is very likely. The 1+1 structure of Bruce Brown’s contract perfectly helps for the potential cap flexibility too.

I think the team is solid, just build around this group. The only thing they need would be deandre hunter from The Hawks or trade stix, nesmith, buddy, and picks for jaylen brown. Myles kinda weak, but the team defense would let the center score and stop everyone else
Both Ayron and Turner could really use changes of scenery. I know Myles had a career year, but he just doesn't move the needle when it comes to winning.
I love OG as a final piece. That being said, I think the harsh truth is this team needs a second star player. Even with the insane defense OG would bring, unless Obi, Walker, or most likely Mathurin becomes a true offensive juggernaut we just transition from too reliant on Haliburton in every way to too reliant on Haliburton to be the whole offense. Kobe talked about it a while back but you need a front court guy to be elite on offense in addition to a guard to make it hard on teams in the playoffs. Hali is a superstar, but he needs a partner.

Who did they pass ? Are They better than the Nets who finished ; Are better than the Knicks or Cavs ? I know they are happy about Obi toppin but the Knicks give him up because they could afford to do so.
The Pacers only got involved in the Ayton stuff last season as a favor to the agent. Basically a team was needed to offer a contract so that it could be matched. The Pacers had no real interest in Ayton.
