Things Are Getting REALLY Awkward for Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard requested a trade and says he wants to be on the Miami Heat. Portland so far isn’t willing to work with Dame on his specific destination.

  1. i hate the blazers now. what a bunch of clown. there's no loyalty on them. trade shadon or something. or ant for a wing and herro can go there. it's a win win situation. herro can be a bradley beal type player who can score 25+ a night.

  2. Philly is bluffing & I live in Philly. Although I'd love to see Jrue back with LaVine or DeRozen next to Emflop next year too. Idk, it's a conundrum.

  3. What is this guy talking about Dame got paid to do a job and other perks that received for being an employee of an NBA team. There is zero commitment after he decides he wants to work for another team. So yeah you are partially right they didn't give him anything he was paid to do his job. Being a studious and hardworking employee is what you are supposed to do. Does a father get extra perks for being a great father. No because that's what you are supposed to do.

  4. Why y'all dissing herro and hyping up Maxey?
    They are basically the same
    Both guards
    Almost identical stats
    Both poor defender
The only difference is herro has individual award
    6 man of the year.

  5. the blazers FO is pathetic. this man is the only reason your sorry ass franchise has been relevant at any point in this century. give him what he wants

  6. This is the first time I watched your nba related video. You look like Tyler Heero man. 💪💪💪

  7. Portland can get Nikola Jovic? That's not bad! It's just one letter away from the best player in the world right now.

  8. It's gotta get ackward to get things done, in the NBA (unless you are James Harden).

  9. If I were Portland I would take Tyler and trade Simon's, with Scoot and Sharpe I would not waste my time on him, Tyler has more experience and more polished than him

  10. Not surprised the organization is acting that way they didn’t get him any help the entire time he was there lol

  11. Portland's management fcked up Lillard's prime years while telling him they were going all in for him… it's their right to do what they want to do but morally they've betrayed him.

  12. Why dont the blazers jus accept the trade hero and the young guys on portland would go along so well

  13. I don't know why Portland would want Harden. He's been nothing but a problem for a while now.

  14. At the end of the day, the Blazers need to do what's best for their organization, just like Dame is trying to do what's best for Dame by forcing a trade to Miami and communicating with Miami to not trade Caleb Martin to the Blazers either, is that loyalty, or Dame doing what's best for Dame? Wherever LeBron James goes, he's always been able to attract star free agents, why hasn't Dame been able to get other stars to join him in Portland?

The Blazers gave the Houston Rockets Clyde Drexler for Otis Thorpe in 95, what good will did that earn the Blazers? They didn't become a mecca for star free agents due to their kindness, it's laughable that people act like this is going to be any different. I think it's reasonable to trade Dame to a contender, he's earned that, but they shouldn't have to trade him for pennies on the dollar and capitulate to his every demand, when the demand is unreasonable, and not requested in good faith, with the interest of the organization in mind as well. Dame is essentially trying to put the screws to the organization on his way out, and it's no wonder the fans have started to see through the smoke screen. The fans have been just as frustrated as Dame, and they'd like to win as well, that's why many sided with him, until it turned into this.

I think Dame still ends up in Miami, but the tables have turned, Portland is no longer at the mercy of other teams begging for a trade to land a fellow star player to pair with Dame. Now they hold all of the cards, and they'll extract maximum value for Dame, like any good business would do, including Pat Riley.

  15. I think portland will do like the nets did when kd demanded a trade for the first time

  16. Heat fans rejoice! Dame ends up anywhere but Miami. Heat dodged a bullet. As a Heat fan, I really hope Dame does NOT come to Miami. Your proposed trade is ridiculous. You were wrong about the Heat throughout the playoffs and that seems to have effected your judgement.
