I trully believe that besides signing back kyrie, the most important thing for the mavs this off season is to get a good center. All the moves so far are absolutely great but irrelevant if they don't get a decent big

The sad thing is even with all these deals they are still not as good as the team that went to the WCF with Brunson, Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney Smith. Bullock and Dorian Finney Smith are better today than Grant Williams and Thybulle.
Meanwhile the rest of the league got way better. Losing Brunson for nothing is like the Thunder losing Harden back in the day for nothing. They are still just treading water here. All these guys are one dimensional.
Where are the guys like Brunson or Austin Reaves or Derrick White that impact the game in numerous ways?
I'm happy but also just still shook for losing Brunson. It feels they have Luka and are just grasping at straws making reactionary moves rather than building something cohesive that makes sense.
I hope they prove me wrong.

I always wanted Finney, Bullock, Hardaway and Powell to just leave., I have half of that wish list completed so I am pretty damn satisfied. If only they would find a way to ditch Hardaway, then I could live with Powell sticking around.

3/33 seems a little light for Thybulle. I fully expect Portland to match. I'm not sure why they didn't go full MLE, making it a bit tougher to match. In the end, if Portland wants to keep him, they'd match whatever we offer.
Is it possibie the Mavs do the same, sign and trading Christian Wood and get TPE? The Brooklyn Nets are looking for stretch five and backup big, McGee and Wood I guess make sense for them.
It's a player-driven league, meaning there are certain stars who will try to make the FO get all of their friends and other former all-stars just to win now. It mortgages the future and if that strategy fails, they will bail and there are no picks to fall back on.
With that said, what I like most about the Mavs FO's set of moves this off-season is that they don't try to do that even if there's Luka and Kyrie on the team. Majority of the rotation will be younger and not gone by the end of the season. They took the draft seriously. In FA, they resigned their guy to a reasonable deal and got some rotation pieces in exchange for their inferior ones. They didn't just sign Dragic, Boban, or a Hernangomav because they are close to Luka. They added and continue to add depth, while not being a 'LeBron' type team. Now it's up to the coaching staff to make this team work.

How did the Mavs receive 2nd Round picks in those deals ? I can't see it anywhere
they will not let Matisse go to the Mavs as he is a restricted free agent, Thybulle is a 2x all defense
What if in some strange universe we could get Damion Lillard? Jesus Christ it would be ridiculous⌠Kyrie, Luca, Lillard , Wood, lively , or thybulle would be awesome to see defenses would be destroyed every game.

Luka grew up in Spain along the HernĂĄn-GĂłmez brothers, i think it would be a great move for the Mavs to sign them once they trade JaVale if HG bros donât get a contract at free agency deadline, they could be in for the minimum. They would be a great addition to the team in many ways, but specially making Luka happy and willing to stay in Dallas.

Harris then the clippers trade Batum Morris and Covington for Harden and House so here's what everyone gets the Mavs get Zubac and Harris the clippers get Harden Maxi and House and the 76ers get THJ McGee Homles Batum Morris and Covington I believe this is a trade that everyone agrees to the money matches up for everyone as well but the 76ers get there team the need the clippers get Harden without having to trade Mann the Mavs get a 3rd player behind Ki and Luka and also a starting center it's perfect I feel like and I believe eveyteam becomes better with this trade as well

Now i honestly think its time to move on to a better coach. Im actually worried that kidd wont be able to fully utilize our assets. The plays he drew last season in clutch moments were horrendous and confusing. I guess luka could carry everything on his back, but anyways we actually need someone who knows what hes doing.
