Reich as middle of the pack seems about right to me. I think there is plenty of legit criticism, plus some vitriol from Colts fans. He did some things well. He wasn't the creator of the QB carousel, he did give it a spin with the Carson Wentz debacle. (Easily his worst mistake as a Colt IMO). I'm ok with 16 for Reich.
I'm also ok with Steichan as an unknown never been heard coached ranked low pre-season. Too many unknowns. Let's see what he does with Richardson. Let's see how he does restoring the confidence of this team.
I'm mostly concerned though that I'm starting to feel hope for the Pacers. It's been a while since I found them very fun to watch, let alone contenders. I'm starting to feel like maybe? Maybe they can be one of the top teams in the east? Strange feeling indeed.
Blaming Reich because Ballard has passed the buck on QBs and had awful roster management is crazy.

I think Steichen will be an upgrade, but Frank Reich is a good coach and even better man, and does not deserve the constant derision.
A coaches ceiling is directly related to his QB's ceiling. He was put in an impossible situation with Matt Ryan.
Reich had nothing to do with Luck retiring, if you believe Luck. That is an absurd assertion. Jacoby was middle of the road then, and remains middle of the road now. Rivers, according to you in the past, knew he didn't have what it takes to get the job done as demonstrated by the Wildcard game in Buffalo. And now it was Reich "standing on the table" for Wentz, which led to a winning season. Instead of building up the defense and giving Wentz some legitimate weapons, you send him packing and bring in Matt Ryan?? Why absolve Ballard from his responsibility? He actually made the trades for Wentz and Ryan. For you , with Reich, it's personal. And it shows.

Indiana kids almost never win a championship Kent. Jalen Coleman lands and Kyle Guy are the only two to win a championship since 2016. I didn’t even look past that. IU doesn’t NEED Indiana kids. They NEED to keep recruiting Montverd academy.

Frank Reich may have been just a tad conservative with is play calling, but wouldn't you, if you were given the hand to play that he was…..

With Reich, he depends too much on analytics but I do give him some slack when you have a new QB every season. The Wentz trade is what raised the question marks, but the Colts ultimately went with someone more passionate and someone who can hold players accountable. I believe Reich still coaches if Luck never retires.
Comparing Frank and Shane is like comparing Plain old Monotone audio to DTS:X 3D sound lol to different worlds
