The New York Knicks officially move on from Obi Toppin trading him to the Indiana Pacers for two future 2nd round picks.
As of right now, this move does not make sense. I will trust this front office and let this offseason play itself out before I react fully!

Unless a star is coming here now this summer this trade was foolish, 2 second round picks? should have developed him more, Thibs lowered his value with his BS. I tell you I do not like this trade at all. Leon should have used Obi as a trade chip for an upgrade not 2 second round picks, what the hell are they waiting for? get the damn star already I thought Leon and world wide wes had all these connections to the stars?……. I think it was a stupid trade by the New York knickerbockers. What are we doing? Who's gonna back up? Julius randolph now cause the guy they get in here from villanova
What's the point in getting DDV? We already have too many similar sized players. And don't tell me his ability to shoot the ball. Isn't that what Grimes is supposed to be all about? Isn't that why we didn't make the Mitchell trade last season, because Grimes was this untouchable player who's supposed to be Klay Lite?
From my view, the overall market is low, and Obi's value is even lower. Why they traded him when his value was so low, I think they wanted to do right by him and not stunt his development anymore and allow him to try and reach is potential. The part I'm really questioning, the knicks rumored always for big stars, they couldn't wait a little longer to include obi in a monster package.
This is why Knicks haven't won anything for 6 decades.

Obi may thrive in the type of offense the Pacers run. More uptempo & he can get out on the wing to finish with a PG like Halliburton
