It’s going to be refreshing to see a legit starter level player playing off of luka and kyrie this year. He can actually break down mis-matches off the dribble, pass, and score out of the post a bit. And of course is a physical and active defender.I’m excited.

He gets a lot more blocks on jumpers than I thought. If the Blazers don’t match Thybulle, it would be pretty cool to have two wing defenders capable of it.

We needed a defensive anchor/dawg after Dodo

… and he’s only 25 — just about to enter his athletic prime. He’s built like PJ Tucker, but I think he’s got better verticality and timing in blocking shots.
