C'mon man. You guys know Portland can't compete with the large market for free agents. Secondly, Dame takes up a lot of their cap so that is a problem. Third, Dame plays zero defense so even though he puts up 30 a night he is not as conducive to winning as one might think. Dame has led the Blazers to top five lottery picks the last two seasons, I would be a little leery if you think Dame is going to lead you to a ring. We all know now the loyalty thing was a charade.

Let’s be 100% honest..Portland organization sucks and needs to be overhauled..if Portland had a culture geared towards championships like Miami it wouldn’t matter who was on the team and they would be a contender..excluding last year because they wanted to get wemby..every other year they have been an embarrassment and dame was the only thing making them relevant. A player of Lillard's caliber can choose to go where he wants… in free agency. Don't sign a long term deal when you didn't have to. I'm sick and tired of players signing long term deals and then demanding to go one place. To be traded? Okay, but saying they'll only go one place is ridiculous. Want to go there? Do it in free agency. Or sign 1 year contracts.

Doesn't matter where he wants to go. He got paid huge for staying. The team has the right to send him wherever for a good package in return. Portland is not going to ship him to the Heat for a bag of marbles. Send him to the Celtics for Brown. That's a fair trade. Holiday and Middleton for Lillard would be nice. How about Dame for AD?
