“I don’t see how they’re going to get into the Damian Lillard race no matter what they potentially trade James Harden for, unless they add Tyrese Maxey. So if Tyrese Maxey is not in the deal and just because you say he’s not on July 6th doesn’t mean he might not be at a later time… But if he’s not in the offer right now, I don’t see how they get it and I think that’s something that Miami is very well aware of as we go through. Remember, Daryl Morey has something up his sleeve. He is a very competent and very strategic executive. Don’t make an assumption that he’s ignoring Joel Embiid. Don’t make any assumptions with him. I wish I could tell you exactly what’s he’s planning. I enough to know that he has something going on and he doesn’t show anybody his hand.”

    I agree with Windy, if Morey has been anything during his career it's been very innovative and never complacent.
    I do not think Morey would trade Maxey for Dame nor do I believe it would be worth it, Dame is too old, injury prone, and bad at defense. Dame is somehow looked at like a better playoff performer than Harden when Harden has won far more playoff games and has taking a team of role player Rockets to conference Finals twice for Warriors. Dame has never left 2nd round.
    So I think we actually extend Harden and trade Tobias for shooters. I also think we may at this point do a Paul Reed sign and trade because we want him back but not if another team offeres him too much.

    The sixers will give up Tyres Maxey and a ton of assets for the 32-year-old, often injured Dam. The only question is that they don't have enough.

    After Ownership and the GM Darl Morley is finished destroying the team's future, giving up number one draft picks like candy for old players and letting young players go for nothing and also trading young playing for nothing Matisse, Bassey, Jalen, Isaiah Joe.
    It don't take a rocket scientist to build a championship team with an MVP player, but to this incompetent sixers organization it is sad.
    They will still make their money, so they don't give a ship until the fans stop going to the games and after this season when Joel ask to be traded if he is not injured. I don't think he has the balls to ask, he is too nice, no dog in him. The sixers will trade him first. What make you all think this organization can build a championship team with this stupidity that's going on?

    Sorry I disagree with you I think Darrel morey is in love with harden and will never let him go his whole career revolves around james harden. I think someone who uses 2k23 gym mode can do better than morey I’d like to give him the crumble cookie to leave

    Every team wants Maxey and Sixers would give him up for an aging player. Sixers have no future without Maxey. Every great young player we get, we jettison away, for aging players. We will regret trading Maxey, when he becomes a Superstar with another team, and we are stuck with all these aging players on the back end of their careers. We are the oldest team in the league. Smh
