The New York Knicks have reportedly backed out of Paul George trade talks due to a high asking price from the LA Clippers. The Clippers are also reportedly not interested in extending PG13. I'd say this Knicks front office was the best in the league in 2022-2023. They absorbed the pressure to trade for Mitchell, signed Brunson, extended RJ, won a playoff series against Mitchell and most important of all: no drama. This is exactly what they should continue doing in the coming season. Instead of chasing superstars, they should wait for them to come knocking on the door.
Totally agree with Colin. Joe Cronin should just tell Andy Elisburg and Pat Riley to find a trade partner or partners to construct a deal, let them do all the work while he focuses on players development.

If you're not extending Paul George based on that criteria then you're not extending Kawhi Leonard. The New York Knicks are not close to being really good they don't have a hall-of-famer on the team
