At his best, he is a relentless rusher who has a variety of moves in his arsenal. He’s clearly capable of taking down signal-callers when he’s at 100 percent and would be an ideal rotational piece for a slew of title contenders. Given Flowers is unlikely to make anything more than the veteran’s minimum on a one-year “prove-it” deal, there’s little risk for any team willing to take a chance on his resurgence.

    They need a coverage LB bad they got great run stoppers but you got good TEs which can be disadvantage to the CB. DL could use a bull rusher.

    Dude you just got done saying availability is the best ability!!!!!! This is a bad signing. Definitely don’t need another injury prone player.

    In my opinion we don’t need anyone that requires us giving up assets at this point. Depth players in free agency are fine but nobody to trade for.

    I still want Yannick man 😢 if not him I’d settle for flowers. I still want us to make a move at LB before season starts tho

    Personally, I wouldn't get either of then guys mentioned today. I think Buddha is too expensive for a position that isn't at the top of the list of positions in need. I also think trey Flowers has too many health concerns to be willing to sign. We already have problems with injuries with Turner and I wouldn't want to take the risk. I think we should either look at a safety or ,what I would personally do, sign Yannick and give foskey a year or two to learn and acclimate himself with the new environment. I have full faith that he could start without problems but I think having Yannick as a smooth transition piece for when Cam retires sets us up better for the not so distant future.

    No to Buddy Baker. The two safety’s we have now are, or were dominate at one point in their careers. The back field has over half a season playing together, which will help them gel this season. We can’t keep replacing guys hoping that they will gel together. It’s not far to them, the team, or the fans. What were we top 5 defense in passing yards allowed last year? Imagine what it should be this year, after them learning each other habits from last year, and how freely they can play this year. If there’s no trust in the back field, then they won’t play loose, and it takes time to earn each others trust. Safety is a position that other players need to have trust in, because it’s literally your last line of defense.
